We are a family team from Worcester in the UK.....

I worked as a lawyer for 25 years, including nearly 20 years at  a large commercial firm in Birmingham, England.  I retired as a partner in April 2006 in order to take a career break.  I am taking the chance to catch up on some of the travelling I have not yet done, and to hone my paragliding skills.

 

 

 

I am currently in my gap year between school and starting my Engineering degree at Bristol University.  I am enjoying a year off from academic work and from rowing, which I did to a high standard at school.  But I am looking forward to getting back into all that when we get back from our trip.  I have been working at an IT/aerospace company as a gap year student since autumn 2005.

I am Richard's mother and Kevin's wife.  I trained as a nurse and as a health visitor, then stopped work for a while when our children were young.  I then retrained as a teacher and for the last seven years I have been a primary school teacher near Worcester.  I will be joining the expedition by air for about 3 weeks in Mongolia during my summer holidays.
